Two Stepping Honey Bee

This little honey bee is two stepping across east TX as it pollinates the Lithospermum mirabile, San Antonio Stoneseed. This artwork was originally illustrated for a book on natives of East Tx, for Botanical Research Institute, (BRIT). Currently, it's getting ready for a summer exhibit with the Lonestar Botanical Artist a circle of the American Society of Artists. The show is identifying pollinators and wildflowers native to TX. Housed at the Old Bakery and Emporium in downtown Austin on Congress street. Starting June 20th. The other bee, a sweat bee is waltzing towards the Hairy Dawn flower a ground cover found in East Tx.
